It also includes 4 months of access to the Library Chef platform with live and on-demand cooking, wellness, and nutrition classes.
The program is designed for public libraries, community organizations, and families — especially kids ages 5 and up. The platform access also gives adults access to wellness, nutrition, and cooking content.
The Junior Chef Kitchen Passport combines physical passport activities, online learning, cooking education, wellness and nutrition content, rewards and incentives, family engagement, and flexible self-paced participation — all in one turnkey hybrid program with minimal staff workload.

Yes — the passports are customized with your library's name to create a personalized experience for your community.
The minimum order is 24 passports. Libraries can order as many as needed based on expected participation, and additional passports can be ordered later if needed.
Yes. Library Chef provides passports, rewards, marketing materials, tracking sheets, platform access, program structure, and support materials. The program is designed to require minimal extra work from library staff.

No — all cooking participation happens online and from home. Libraries do not need kitchen facilities, food prep areas, or onsite cooking equipment.
The platform is fully branded to your library. Patrons register using their library card through a simple registration page that takes less than one minute to complete.
Yes — kids can attend live classes or watch replay/on-demand classes. Families can participate whenever it is convenient for them. There are no mandatory schedules or required attendance times.
No. Kids complete passport challenges by participating in online classes and activities available through the platform. No special equipment or complicated ingredients are needed.
No — all classes, recipes, and videos are available directly inside the Library Chef platform. No Zoom links are required.
Yes — multiple family members can use the same account.
Platform access begins on June 20 and the program runs through September 7 — 4 months of full access included.
Libraries should order by June 20 to receive kits by July 8. All kits are scheduled for delivery on or before July 8.
Libraries can submit a Purchase Order (PO) and receive an invoice afterward. Payment terms allow up to 1 month maximum after invoicing — no payment is required at the time of ordering.
Library Chef will send an invoice and provide shipping and delivery updates. All kits are delivered on or before July 8.
Yes — libraries already subscribed to the Library Chef platform receive discounted pricing on the passport program.
Renewal is optional. Platform access ends after 4 months unless the library chooses to continue. Libraries interested in continuing can contact Library Chef for discounted yearly subscription pricing.
